SALAY, MIS. OR., 2022, Apr 10 — The Kasilay Sports Fest 2022 officially opens on April 9, 2022, in celebration of the upcoming Town Fiesta. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Salay Sangguniang Kabataan Federation headed by SK Federation President, Hon. Tomas Cape, Jr., together with the Salay Sports Development Council.
It started with a parade followed by the opening ceremony, and the games proper. The opening ceremony was held at the Salay Gymnasium.
In this new normal, this Kasilay Sports Fest 2022 would not have been possible without the efforts of the SK Federation of Salay, Salay Sports Development Council, also with the help of our Provincial Sk Federation President, Board Member Kerwin Jess Soldevilla; Ofcourse, this activity is fully supported by the Local Government Unit of Salay headed by Mayor Jun Capistrano together with the Sangguniang Bayan of Salay headed by Vice Mayor Sonny Tan.
The primary goal of the Sports Fest is to promote to the community especially the youth to: promote camaraderie, athleticism, good sportsmanship to strengthens teamwork; build character, and teaches respect, honor, discipline, friendliness, inclusion, resilience, and perseverance. To become a good citizens of the society.
