SALAY, MIS. OR., 2021, Oct 21 — The beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) and Livelihood Assistance Grant (LAG) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through Congressman Christian Unabia, received food and cash assistance yesterday, October 20, 2021, at the Salay Gymnasium.
Present during the activity were DTI ASEC Niño Contreras representing Senator Bong Go, Gingoog City Vice-Mayor Peter Unabia, Congressman Christian Unabia, Gingoog City ABC President, Hon. Bobet De Lara, TESDA Regional Training Center Tagoloan Administrator, Mario Labisig, DSWD-10 Representative, Edgar Requelme, and Department of Agriculture RFO X Representative, Engr. Marlene Naluan, Mayor Jun Capistrano, Vice Mayor Sonny Tan, and SB Members.

The activity was in coordination with the Salay Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by MSWD Officer, Maria Corina Ventura.
The beneficiaries also received facemasks, vitamins, face shields, snacks, and lucky raffle winners from the beneficiaries received Android Tablets, Mountain Bikes, and Shoes. These gifts were from Sen. Bong Go.

The Local Government Unit of Salay headed by Mayor Jun Capistrano would like to express our HUGE gratitude to Sen. Bong Go, Congressman Christian Unabia, Gingoog City Vice Mayor Peter Unabia, and other concerned national agencies for the unswerving support to the plans and programs of the local government which greatly contributed to the continued success/development of the municipality; for the welfare of our dear constituents.
